Brick Bay residence is in Snells Beach, New Zealand, and was developed by Glamuzina Paterson Architects.

The house is negotiating the outlines of the internet site with the private sectors staggering down the hill to the south, creating a courtyard, and delivering protection. The L-plan forms a barrier on the road up on the southwest border, blocking noise and provides privacy. The North deck opens to the east and west allows afternoon sun, penetrating the areas of life. The open living spaces under the program have gable roof porch enclosure to the north and east, which frame views of Kawau Bay.
The facade Macrocarpa board and batten wrapped the plot with an attractively textured grain that offers an all-natural warmth on the facade, recording the time, as its color changes. The slat frame on the sidewalk gallery provides shade in summer and protection in winter.
