Over the past year holidays December, I had some free time to play in the kitchen. I decided to make a Red Velvet Cake, but with a bit of a twist .. I've decorated with icing in a glass!


Just before I begin I need to let them know: A few eggs in the preparation of these have been sacrificed, and it was chaotic




Ingredients:

  • two cups of all objective flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • two eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • two teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 50-60ml red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • ½ cup cooked plain hot coffee (this ingredient do not skip!)
  • Icing kit of your choice (I used the Cappuccino Ina Paarman Icing Kit)







. Technology:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt. Put aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sugar and vegetable oil.
  4. Mix until combined in coloring the eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and red meals.
  5. tir in the coffee and white vinegar.
  6. Combine the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients a little at the time, mixing after each addition, and each just until combined.
  7. Spray your oven pan with Spray and Cook.
  8. Divide the dough evenly in the pan.
  9. Bake comes out clean in the middle rack for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick. Do not over bake like cake will continue to cook as it cools.
  10. Allow to cool on a cooling rack until the pan is warm to the touch.
  11. Slide a knife or an offset spatula around the inside of the pan to loosen the cake from the pan.
  12. Eliminate can take the cake from the pan and let cool.
  13. Take a glass or round-shaped object from circles cut the cake.



Follow the instructions on the icing field for the icing. Put a circle inside your jar and run it with icing. Repeat this procedure until the prime of the glass. Decorate your glass. Considering that the lid of the jar was opened, I have a few sprinkles inside that over later, if you enjoy your Red Velvet Cake in a glass
