This impressive Belgium House DMVA achieved a careful balance between old and new, preserving its classic charm, while presenting a revolutionary contemporary side. We say "cautiously" because the project wasn '; t without obstacles - namely the neighbors; Approval of the draft was intended to constructing permit required. Although the architects refrain from a total transformation, they made subtle changes like a white facade and a cool white pool topped by a pair of sculptural white supplements with grass, linking landscape and architecture.

This suburb of Brussels, which identifies for its green spaces, the stage for this interesting house which teeters between classic and contemporary. Upon entry, interiors take a dramatic turn with black walls and ceilings, open onto the white space that you want to externally see. We love this dramatic contrast! The ceiling, also black, functional mounting white zigzags, interest rates overhead.
