Another notable debut at the completed lately London Style Festival was the exquisitely linear apse LED Table Lamp by British furniture and product designer Zak Stratfold. apse is a vertical layer beach wood body is excellently bent at each finish, a circular vibrating head and round, slightly concave limestone base which simultaneously accommodate as a receptacle for humble things. A wood-band that surrounds the base of the lamp enables fully rotate, even if the head of the lamp over a range of angles to pivot up to 90 degrees. Stratfold which develops apse in collaboration with Belgian wood veneer expert G. Desmet has a lamp which is a clear Nordic respect for craft and visual simplicity-achievement that we created suspicious expression, not nearly so simple as it looks.
