New Chairs From David Adjaye & amp; Knoll

Screen shot 09/10/2013 at 11:44:00 PM British architect David Adjaye and Knoll have collaborated on a furniture collection which includes a pair of cantilever, memorably called Skin and Skeleton , The Washington-collection is determined that have been inspired by Adjaye design for the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, is currently building and scheduled to open in the year 2015th

The identically shaped Skin and Skeleton are, in essence, just before and following versions of the exact same chair. Skeleton is intricate cutout seat and back pattern, in hard edges constructed from aluminum in appear 3 metallic colors that the internal frame for lightweight Skin , made from his fixed , seamless, injection molded nylon and offered in a variety of bright colors. Says Adjaye, who produce its first foray into furniture design, "When you get closer, you see that a particular is the skeleton and a single muscle is not displayed."
