Croatian architects PROARCH, intent on preserving the essence of the nearby architecture vernacular, replaced the original thatched roof with one that stretches out over the main volume, recording a single expanse of glass below. The glass cube, which in turn sits on a plain surface of wood planks that wraps about the cottage and boom over a gently sloping ridge.
